Officer's Mess
The project was a fast paced one which required the interiors to be done for a number of room of the officer's mess and included spaces like the reception area, bar and lounge, library space, VIP bedrooms, open terraces among others. The whole design was conceptualized and executed within a span of 3 months.
The reception area was planned in keeping with the volume, amount of natural light entering the space and maximization of wall space for a floor to ceiling mural. The aesthetic of library was kept to subtle pastel shades with bright pops of color in the occasional rugs.
The rustic charm and the random placements of the concrete jallis adds to the character of the bar cladding. Bedrooms were designed with a neutral palate for the soft furnishings with a pop of color in bright blue on one wall.
The terraces were worked upon with the concept of landscaping in an urban jungle. The greens were brought in at different levels on this multi- storey building while creating the perfect space to relax and unwind after a tiring day at work.
