Verna, Goa
Villa Azul

The interiors draw heavily from coastal influences, interpreted through a refined palette of blues, off-whites, natural cane, and warm wood tones. The living area is intentionally minimal, furnished with a grey sofa and a blue accent armchair with a cane back, allowing light and texture to take precedence. Overhead, rafters and a wallpaper in a wood-finish mimic the warmth of an upper wooden floor, while hanging lights above the breakfast counter crafted from natural cane reinforce the breezy, seaside narrative. Curated artwork inspired by marine habitats subtly echoes the home’s coastal identity.

Connecting the two levels is a thoughtfully designed stairwell that becomes a visual moment in itself, marked by a blue highlight wall at the landing and accented with an arched mirror and sleek console that subtly elevate the transition between floors. These considered details reinforce the home’s cohesive narrative, where colour, texture, and function work in quiet harmony across levels. Together, these layered design decisions result in a home that feels light, efficient, and deeply rooted in Goa’s coastal spirit—proof that small spaces, when thoughtfully designed, can be both expressive and expansive.

Size: 1600 sqft.

Rooted in a coastal design narrative, this 3BHK villa in Verna, Goa unfolds across thoughtfully curated spaces. Clean lines, airy volumes, and a bold but comfy, seaside-inspired palette come together to create a home that feels both refined and effortlessly relaxed.

Set in the quiet environs of Verna, Goa, this 3BHK villa is a thoughtful response to a clear and conscious client narrative: to create a home imbued with a relaxed coastal vibe while working within a compact footprint of 1600 sq ft. The design approach centers on maximizing spatial efficiency without compromising on character, comfort, or visual richness.

The planning re-imagines conventional layouts to enhance openness and flow. A walled-in kitchen gives way to an extended open kitchen anchored by a breakfast counter, seamlessly merging with the living area and visually expanding what would otherwise have been a tight space. A cleverly tucked-in study beneath the staircase landing further optimizes unused pockets, transforming transitional areas into functional zones without cluttering the home.
